Hi everyone,
I live in the UK and have a Lonicera Nitida 'Red tip' bonsai which is about 6 months old. Its fairly small and is really only a stick with a few branches
One side of the stalk has lots of leaves however the other side of the branch doesn't have any and although it has branches any leaves that do grow go brown and fall off within a day or 2
Also some of the healthy green leaves have white stuff on them.
Im worried that its dying.
Any suggestions would be gratefully recieved.
Thank you.

I don't see that white stuff, but I understand why you are worried because your tree is doing not well. I think that the leaves dies because it stands indoor, and this is a tree that needs to stand outdoor to survive.
The white stuff on the leaves can be mould but I can't know that for sure without seeing a close-up of the white stuff you're talking about.

Besides it needing to be outside, the soil looks like pure potting turf, and very wet. The roots might be struggling there. Keeping it indoors is very dificult if not impossible

Thank you for your comments
The soil is specially for 名媛直播 trees and I feed it every 10 days which the instructions on the feed say to do.
I got a small leaflet with my 名媛直播 when I brought it saying that it could be kept indoors in a cool light position or outdoors in a sheltered position. Im worried that if I keep it outdoors it won't survive as the weather here in the UK near London is very wet and windy at the moment.
Should I put it outdoors for a week or two and see what happens?
Thank you

The white stuff could be just a build up of minerals from the water. The tree is doomed if it isn't put outside.....fast.
Put it outside in a shady spot and let it recover. Don't fertilize it and don't over water it.
To get the trunk on that thicker it really should be put in a much bigger pot or better yet, in the ground for a few years. right now it's a very cute seedling, and has many years before it becomes a bonsai. All of us have trees that aren't there yet
. That's most of the fun.
Enjoy,
Lance.
