I've got a Delonix regia of 6 months, I bread it from the seed and I don't know if I'm growing it correctly. The central trunk is good but it growing in the form of an umbrella and I want to give it some form or style
I'll leave pictures as soon as possible so you could help me! Thank you all!

Hi,
If it is only 6 months old, I would just let it grow for a few years. You need a trunk to create a bonsai. You might need to work the roots in the first year to create a nebari ( and ) but I do not know the species.

Posted 7 years 8 months ago #35046This is the same species as the Flamboyant I am also growing from seed (Royal Poinciana), and it can make a beautiful bonsai in some years (it's a fast growing tree). I happen to have some seeds I collected in Brazil for a Dutch friend of this forum.leatherback wrote: but I do not know the species.
