This is my first tree that I’ve changed from a shrub into a 名媛直播.
It was grown in a large pot on top of a stone pillar that was part of a gate entrance.
The pot has been repurposed and I thought I could make a 名媛直播 out of the plant inside.
I’ve reduced many of this tree’s branches so that it would appear less as a shrub and more as a 名媛直播. Especially those that were too long or growing upwards.
Any tips on how to make this into a decent 名媛直播 in the following years?
Looking for advice on training and shaping this tree.

For flowering trees at this stage, don't keep a branch just because it has flowers at the end of it.
Especially for bouganvillea, as they don't grow compact branching or flowers easily.
Don't be afraid to cut back hard, even with flowers.
I can see this becoming an interesting bonsai in the future.

I assume you are in a country where you do not get temperatures below 10C as they do not like it. I would remove the thin branch as it is too low. I would if it was mine cut most branches even shorter than you have. It will take a few years but it a nice piece of material.

It is in a tropical country. The trees have grown many leaves over the past few months. Should I defoliate them ?

Thanks for sharing! Looks nice plant. However this trunk will never turn into 名媛直播, you may want to find better material. Good luck.
