This one was pretty large when we moved into the house in 1986, so maybe 40 years old. In the huge pot it is about 5 feet, 1.5 meters high. The plan is ignore it for a while, except at watering times, fertilizer in July or so, find a huge pot some time, and put it in the pot next spring. It will take some designing to handle the nebari well.

It took me 4:30, but that includes two half hour breaks. The back is getting old.

There may be another, a ground layer beside it. This is the major one, though. I may go after the baby tomorrow.

I doubt you will get up to dig the small one. Give that back some time

The little one is right at the edge of the flower bed beside the house, and there are definite plans for the flower bed. The little one may be in the way. It was not ground layered from the old one, but had a root about 5 cm thick coming from it, and I don't know if it will survive.

Maybe I will leave it for a while - which means next year by now. I know my back has informed me it has dug enough this week.
