I don't see people adding much movement to those trees, but if you want give the trunk a subtle movement, you generally do it early, before it get too stiff, so you won't be able to bend it... It's hard to tell without seeing it tho.
But however, the shape and style of your tree, is totally up to you...
My tip is, read about the species you're going for, and don't rush...
