Hi! I found a european larch in my city and collected some cones from it. Could this be considered yamadori even though its not from a forest or something? Anyways, i was planning on picking the seeds out of the cones. Around how much could i get from them? And do you have any recommendations on how would it be easier to pick them out? Heres a picture to help:

I would not consider seeds to be yamadory. In my personal opinion any tree collected could be considered yamadory, but not seeds. Others might have other option.

Not Yamadori in my opinion... just collected seed...
I wouldn't consider even seedlings to be Yamadori. And btw, collecting seedlings can be a nice idea too, you'll skip the whole germinating phase.

Now when I think a little more about it.....If seeds from urban environment would be considered yamadory, then obviously seeds from the nature would as well. In that case every bonsai in the entire world would be yamadory?

Ok. I've read that you should sow them asap, but i can only sow them after 2-3 weeks because i still need to get the planting tray. Will they lose their germination power by then?

What happens with seeds in nature? ( trying to let you figure out the answer to your question yourself)
