So I mentioned I'm trying to grow some jack pine trees from seed. I have them in a window where they will receive light. I read that when you soak the seeds and they float that they are just shells and won't germinate. Is that true? If that's the case I may never get a sprout...I think only one actually sank and I'm not sure if that's the one I misplaced before planting them.

I'm going to be moving back to Michigan next week so I might not be on at all. We'll see.

I've red something about that too a long time ago but I don't know how this method was and when it was used anymore.
