you apply fertilizer both to the soil and to the leaves (via mist) simultaneously during growing season?
yeppers, i use miracle grow violet food but any low dose (7/7/7 NPK ) liquid fert will work. personally i never follow the osmacote directions especially at the higher dose i always use less . mid summer sprinkle a little more onto the soil and you should be good to go
