Hello everyone,
I have Japanese maple and Japonica seed which i have put for germination in paper towel method and even in soil method in fridge.
but it seem no response from soil and in peper towel seed got red color around (is it fungus or germinating)?
I have kept seeds aside if this germination technique fails, Please help me what should i do and how to germinate both.
Do japonica seed need cold germination technique or normal Temp.
I stay in India (Mumbai) where usual cimate is around 28C to 35C round the year, so please suggest me which type of trees accepts such climate.
Thanks for the help in Advance.

Japanese maple will be very dificult to even keep alive. They need cold winters, which you do not get. Cryptomeria I do not know.
I never have succes putting things in the fridge, so cannot help you there!
Take species that naturally occur in your climate. So you have the luck of being able to grow tropicals and subtropicals without trouble. Ficus, raintree, carmona, chinese pepper etc.

check with these guys -
I think you should forget about conifers in your climate, ficus should be best for you, though they are hardly considered as 100% bonsai.
