That looks like a juniper

That is a juniper and it looks like that because you have it inside. Put it outside and let it get fresh air.

Take off the fake moss and rock it dose nothing for the young tree, my advice put it into a bigger pot and let it grow for a few years or put it in your garden. Its not a bonsai or not yet it could have potential if givin time to grow.

It's a dying juniper.
Take it outside as suggested.
