The size limit should apply here I think. With a bigger tree you can afford to airlayer more interesting part and in another 2 years you got an interesting shohin.
Not that many possibilities with a tiny and thin mallsai.
Maybe if you added 2 more years

Here are my two "perfect" Ulmus mallsais .... got them for about 10-15 euros each a couple of years ago... I'm just letting them grow now... and have removed that ugly and useless wire from the S-shaped one...

Felidae, as I have posted in another thread, I can't find an S shaped Elm here for less than 100 Euros.
As importing trees to Brazil is forbidden, these mallsai from nurseries in China are not so common here. Plenty of S shaped Ficus and tropicals, but elms...

I know Clicio, it was in my elm’s thread where we spoke about that. What’s the problem if it’s not S? If it’s an elm mallsai, it must be qualifies according the challenge title.
