Nice! I got my Jacaranda to sprout! but only one of them! the other one was blown away by the wind before spring and before i had clay pots, to yeah.... lol idk what would've happened.

Also, if the stems turn a darker color, is it good or bad?

So I got the almost exact same kit as a gift from a Secret Santa ( I say almost because those are some fancy wooden signs while I only got white sticks to write on). I decided I was only going to plant the pinus and the jacaranda. I didn't want to get too involved and end up ignoring one or other of the plants.

I sowed them in late winter and the while the Pinus was the first to sprout (all six seeds sprung, however I culled four of them to let the two strongest get the most nutrients) the jacaranda followed with one sprout. I was at a lost, wondering how five of the six seeds did nothing.

I got a new job with amazing amazing light for most of the day/evening and put my bonsai seedlings on the windowsill, lo and behold, the other five seeds sprouted (over six months later). I let one of them survive since I didn't want to take any further nutrients from the main sprout.

And while I also know my pinus needs to (and deserves to be) outside, I have no outside to give them. Life is trial and error I suppose, but don't let the naysayers get you down. As they say, life finds a way!

Please Shepered, keep yourself in this forum long enough to realize it's going to be painful seeing your pine slowly dying indoors. It is not the naysayers fault but it is nature doing what it is supposed to do; trees belong outside. Good luck!
