Satsuki Azelea… looks like it’s dying-help was created by barbara.kehr@yahoo.com

Hello I hope someone here can help me. My son had given me a Satzuki Azelea.
I’ve had it for about about four years now and it was doing fine… I don’t know what happened after this winter it started to go downhill. Leaves would start to turn brown and fall off. I checked water, so I’m not overwatering it I wasn’t under watering it. It was the same amount light of light as it always had… Basically, some morning sun the rest of the day was indirect. I don’t know much about bonsai, and I googled the photos to see if I could come up with something and it led me to a forum stating that it could be fungus and it was advised to use Daconil.
I did but but not at the full strength stated on the bottle and the plant went downhill even quicker. The branches are still flexible so they’re not dead but I don’t know what to do at this point it now lost all of its leaves. Is there anyway I can revive this?
I do have to interject that the same time that this plant started to get the brown spots I had that was on some of my other plants which I got rid of. I don’t know if the two have anything to do with each other but I realize the other plants had scale. I separated the bonsai from the others…
I thought I had pictures from before, and I only found one of a close-up of the leaves. Now there are no leaves on the bonsai, but as I mentioned, the branches are pliable they’re not brittle, so I don’t know if I have a chance of reviving it. I took a picture of it as it is today without any leaves I had just watered it….?
