hi, can anyone?help me with this maple. idk what its problem is and its slowly dying. anyone know what to do?
Its not under direct sunlight. roots where trimmed a while back. maybe 2 months ago.?

The only thing in your post that suggest any issue is root work in May. In most places in the nortern hemisphere maples has come out of dormancy in May and should not get root work.
If you tell us more there may be other issues as well.
If it is caused by the root work the tree should stay in full shade until recovered.

You did not answer the question from Tropfrog. No the tree is weak and defoliating will make it worse if not kill it. Re potting at the wrong time is the likely cause, if it was in leaf then you were wrong to re pot. Keep it in semi shade and be careful with watering and no fertiliser.

i dont know what question to answer sir but if this will help, im from the philippines. the other maples ive got here is doing good so maybe it really is the root work that caused this. is it safe to say that this needs to be indoors??

the other maple ive got here has burned tips when i put it under full sun. but now under a shady area with little to no sunlight and has been doing quite good recently

No way should it be inside, the heat and sun if not properly watered will cause burned leaves, keep them in semi shade, not with no sun, and if it is hot then you will be watering at least once a day if not more. I am watering every day here, and the temp is around 22-24C
