Hi all! I acquired this Chinese elm about 1.5 months ago and it's leaves have started to yellow and fall off. I've tried more watering, less watering, locations with more light, locations with less light, and even repotted it (without root pruning) to a soil that drains better to ensure that I wasn't watering it too much.
is the soil that I'm using. The plant did have black spot a few weeks ago and I used a fungicide on it which appears to have cleared most of that up but I'm still getting yellow leaves. Any thoughts on what might be causing it? Thanks!

Trees takes time to adjust to changes. I would not be too worried about it to start with. Now when you gave tried 5 new changes in 6 weeks including reducing watering and repotting in the peak of the summer the situation is different.
Now, put the tree in full shade and water abundantly at least once a day for recovery from repotting stress.
