Help.. I don't think my bonsai is what I thought it was was created by 名媛直播_Fizz

Hi, as it says, I bought a bonsai (on a whim) thinking it was one thing.. this was a while ago before I actually trained myself to behave! I have this.. I thought it was a mandarin bonsai, but now I'm thinking it's a Privet.. anyone able to help correctly identify it?

Mandarin trees have thick waxy leafs. This one seems not to fit into that description.

It could very well be the chinese privet. Thin eleptical oposite leafs. But there are many more species that fit into that description.
