I'm in Canada it's going -20 at night now. Bought a small Juniper I think it's juniper procumbens or creeping juniper. Bought at Rona, in a big class greenhouse, humid and warmer than outside.

Wondering if I should put it outside in my garage for winter. Or if it has already come out of dormancy and I should wait until next winter after repotting in spring, and just keep it inside by the windows for now? Thanks in advance.

If your garage is not as low as outside then that would be better than inside a house. Wrap it in something cardboard, blanket whatever to keep it protected but do not allow it to dry out. If you have a lot of snow you could bury it.

Okay thanks, tons of snow. Does it look healthy for its size? It's okay to put it back in cold after it was inside? Buried in snow the colder weather is okay for it? New in pot from store not sure of age.

Very strange that your garden center keeps junipers in nurcery pots indoors in winter, never seen that before.

It looks like it has not broken dormancy yet. I would say get it out now and burry it in snow until spring is your best chanse if you cannot provide a 5 degree overwintering room.
