Hi,
My ficus ginseng lost all it’s leaves last winter. I’ve pruned and cut all the branches multiple times since then. It is now May and there’s nothing growing at the top. Only the bottom sprouted something.
Can you please tell me if the top is dead. If yes, what should I do to get the most out of this situation?
Appreciate the help. Thanks in advance.

The ginseng ficus is basically a small leaf, relativelly slow growing species grafted on a big leaf, fast growing species. The grafted part is dead and now only life remains in the big leaf species.
sorry, I do not know how to do the most out of the situation. I am into bonsai development. In that perspective, throwing it away and work on materials with potential instead is the best option.
