Hoping someone can help me save my bonsai!!
I watered and fed my bonsai on Sunday and shortly afterwards the leaves went as shown in the images ?
I think it's apparent it isn't very well, I just don't know why, or what I can do, if anything, to save it.
Please help ???

Good health in bonsai is maintained with right care and environment. Without knowing species, care or conditions it is not possible to tell what went wrong. You need to provide more information.

Hi, thanks for your comment.?
My bonsai is a Harland Box (Buxus Harlandii).
It has been growing well up until now. Ive been watering when the soil felt/looked dry. I fed it for the first time on Sunday, using Chrysal 名媛直播 plant food. It has been positioned in a bright window. Following watering/feed on Sunday I put it outside in the shade. Shortly after watering/feeding, the leaves started to turn as they appear in my attached pictures.?
I hope this information provides some context. I really hope it can save it ???

It? should never have been inside to start with. It is probably just reaction to change of environment and nothing to worry about. You may find that you are watering more now as it will dry out quicker.

Any tree needs sunlight and usually lots of it. The function of leaves is to soak up energy from the sun so if there is little sun the leaves may react as if it is winter.
Put it outside and move it gradually into full sun.

Just for clarity, the tree had plenty of sun, although not direct sunlight and it has thrived until last Sunday. It was absolutely fine until I watered and fed it when the leaves turned as pictured.?
Until Sunday the bonsai was happy and healthy with lush foliage. The trigger for the change in presentation appears to have been me watering/feeding it.

So at the same time as you watered and dertilized you also moved it outdoors. But you are certain that it was watering and fertilizing is the reason, not the move? My experience points in another direction. Watering can never cause a tree ti wilt. If you use the recomended dose of the fertilizer it will not harm a tree.
Your bright indirect window is proboably a lot less sun than outdoors in shade.
I am quite sure that the move is the reason. It could be the increased amount of sun or the increased evaporation.
Do not get me wrong now. This species needs to be outdoors. It is just that the transition is sometimes very stressful.

I didn't move it outside until after I'd watered and fed. The leaves had already started to 'fold up' when I put it outside, this is what makes me believe it was something to do with the feeding/watering, rather than an environmental factor.
I'm grateful for your views, based on your experience, I am very much a novice in the world of bonsais. However, I have successfully cultivated many indoor and outdoor plants and have a good understanding of the needs of plants. That being said I do appreciate that the needs of a bonsai can be more complex, hence me seeking advice from people with bonsai experience.?
I did wonder if I'd perhaps mis-measured the feed, and overfed it, although I was careful to be precise. Could this be the cause? If so, what could I do to help?
I guess I need to establish the cause to find any potential treatment that may save it. I really hope it can rescue it.

The needs of bonsai is no different than any other plant! The move NOT watering is the main cause there is no way that watering would cause a problem like that. If you used the correct dose of fertiliser that also would not cause any problem, I would suggest that you give it time to settle outside, and do nothing except water.?

I am sorry to say.....claiming good knowledge about the need for plants is not very convincing after admiting keeping an usda zone 7-9 plant indoors.
If you want help I suggest some humble approach to the answers you give.
So lets asume you overfertilized by misstake....Then the solution is to water with clean unfertilized water. A lot and often. That rince out excess ferts from the soil.
