As shown in the images, an orange fungus has appeared shortly after my bonsai has been slowly withering and the leaves have been dying- there is also some white mould of sorts and small roots growing from the soil. What should I do to save it- what fungicide should I use? Should I repot?

Rub it off use a toothbrush.

Anything to do regarding the soil as well? There are a couple small fungi growing out and the overall mold, a lot of small roots coming out the surface as well?

Just pull them out, stir the surface up.

The white stuff may be build up of chemicals in the water.? Use s sprinkler attachment to pour water until it pours out of the bottom holes in the pot. This flushes chemicals out and prevents buildup.
