picked up this cheap boxwood for 10 dollars from a old nursey thats only open 1 day a month

I think thats about seven (English) pounds in real money - absolute bargain, will make an impressive tree. Wish I could find deals like that...

in spring when growth starts chop it down to the major trunks. starting over with just the base is your best bet. in a month or 2 you will have plenty of branches to choose from/work on
