Can we trade please? I want a looooong growing season!
Not complaining though, since it's september but we seem to be in the middle of summer...
Anyway, my white pines do not produce a second flush. We don't have a long summer (normally).
So... I can't tell you either what to do with the new flush. I'd probably let them grow, not to weaken the tree. But that's guessing.
Also, I can'tsee the tree...

I've not ben in Italy for far too long. Maybe next yearDrakes wrote: I would trade for sure. No brainer. We still have problems with water and i'm not even from south Italy
You want to trade... hard to imagine. Trade one of the most beautiful languages, good food, the best coffee for a country with rude people with a not so pretty language, very long, dark, wet winters and where the biggest culinary invention is a kroket (deep fried regout covered in breadcrumbs)?
.
Hope that now you can see the tree. Pretty healthy
Yep. A bit small, but seems to have a very nice color, looks very healthy, and dense foliage.

No problem.
i think i will let him grow freely and start removing some branches in winter to avoid the death of the inner buds. Right choice?
If it concerns timing: Yes, should be fine. Do leave a stub. Beginning of spring is possible too. There are some good guidelines on our favorite website:
