Hi all,
New to this forum so hi.
I have a gnat issue buy the looks and the are doing my head in now because they are all around my kitchen. My tree is on our kitchen window and we have noticed a high number of gnats around it and in my tree.
Anything i can buy to treat this, because at the moment i have one of those fly sticky tape things to see if this helps towards it.
Thanks

You are keeping the plant too wet. So let the soil dry out more between watering.
Adding a bit of insecticide to the watering can help reducing the immediate situation

Sticky yellow pads.
Neem oil on the soil.
Peroxide 3% (1 tablespoon/life of water) once a week for three weeks.
Less watering as LB said.
