Hey guys. I am pretty new to the bonsai hobby, I have had a gorgeous bonsai for a few months now and it has been growing beautifully. However I have been pruning it there and sprayed the soil a little bit and then noticed white little things moving in the soil.
Upon closer inspection they appear to be small worm like insects, they are way too small for me to see exactly what they are or how they look. I did notice two tiny antennae. I have provided the best picture I could take. It is the white thing next to my finger. Can anyone give me any advice on how to treat it? Im also worried the pests can harm the bonsais roots?

Why do you call them pests? In any soil there is a plethora of animals living. Most of them are of no concern.
The bigger problem ar grubs and fungus gnats, neither of which are these. I would let them be.

Probably springtails.

You right. But they are not spider mites. I agree with the springtails. And as said, nothing to worry about.
