hello and thank you for the help in advance i have i believe it is a cypress bonsai and i am having a bug infestation and im not sure what to do the foliage is starting to brown here are 2 pictures

The amount of bugs in your traps seem normal and I don’t see any Aphids in them. Do you keep the tree outside?

first off you dont have a bonsai yet but good news is you do have a small tree. those look like maybe some gnats, they should not be a problem and can be coming from moisture. your foliage may be turning brown due to keeping it indoors. your tree must be placed outside or it will just continue to decline.

thank you for the fast replies yes i do keep it indoor and will be keeping it outside on a bench south facing to get lots of light. thank you again i hope to see my small tree develop and allow me to learn more as it grows
