Do I have spider mites?

Then new leaves started appearing, which was great. But now I'm concerned. I saw some web-like stuff between a couple of leaves. There was so little of it that I had no way of knowing if it was just dust. Remembered reading about spider mites, started turning over leaves and there are tiny white... sprinkles? ...on the underside of the leaves. Some of the new leaves have brown spots, some of the older ones have curled in a bit and have a hard edge.
Any ideas?

Related to spiders, but not spiders.

Yeah, you are right. As I was writing it I was thinking about that, wondering whether the arachnida translates to spiders-likes; SPinachtigen in Dutch.
