Or People experienced in bonsai diseases. After all there are no differece in symptons or treatments.

There's no such thing as bonsai diseases...
There's a difference in location, hence there's a difference in diseases.

So far, no one is sure about what it is. I'd really give it a try on a house plant forum as well. You could try this one:
As I don't grow trees indoors, I'm not familiar with the diseases they can get. Wasn't aware you can get powdery mildew on houseplants. Seems you can.
