Hello, I recently got an indoor ficus bonsai and it has been doing ok for about a month now. However, just today I went to water it and it's completely covered in these little white spider mites! I water it every 2-3 days, and I haven't noticed them until now, although ever since I got it some leaves have been a little yellow and worn-looking, but now it's starting to wilt! I plan on wiping the leaves down with water and then using either a dish soap mixture or an organic pesticide spray. My issue though, is I live in an area where it's very cold in the winter, so I can't leave it outside until these mites are gone. Are they going to infest my house or anything? There's so many of them please help!

They infest your plants, not your home.

They might be easy to deal with, there are proper bug sprays, neem oil and even predatory mites, ladybugs you can use to deal with them...

If your ficus is not too large, bring it into the shower and holding it as a slight angle, shower the plant with lukewarm (NEVER HOT and ideallu not fully cold) water.
Whatever route you choose: These animals lay eggs, so you need to repeat it ever week for a few weeks to really get rid of them
