Hi All,
I recently bought a Chinese Elm online and noticed that the leaves have small black spotting on them and I am seeing more begin to yellow/brown. Some leaf stems seem wilted and unhealthy.
I have looked online and do you think this is anthracnose? Some images look similar and some do not.
Thoughts? Any help would be great. Dont want it to die!
Thanks!
Ben

It's hard to diagnose over pictures like like this, but it looks like what my elm forest had last summer when it had rained for a couple of weeks and the pot they were in didn’t have good drainage.
See if the root ball smells bad.
They were root bound and the mica pot had a big dip in the middle that collected water. I drilled a couple of holes in the places where water collected and they did fine.
