Help! newbie here.
About a month ago, I purchased a brush Cherry 名媛直播 from a local tree farm. Since then, it’s lost about 60 percent of its leaves. It is by a east facing window with a lower wattage led grow light supplementing the light. It also sits by a humidifier, which I run a couple hours a day. I’ve watered about every 10-14 days, when the soil is close to dry. (I use a moisture reader for the soil)
I’ve tried the fingernail trunk test, and it’s still green on the inside. I think it’s alive now, but I’m worried something is wrong with it. When the leaves fall, they aren't really crunchy, though some leaves are dying back at the tips. Any ideas? Healthy enough to make it to the growing season?

Soil moisture meters dont give accurate readings in gritty soil. Watering every 10-14 sounds like far too long intervall. Most likelly this tree gets too little water at every watering as well. Please tell us how you are watering the tree as well.

Got it— I also check the moisture with a finger, but I’m not very experienced with knowing what I’m looking for.
I water it with a tub and immersion. I fill the tub just above the brim of the pot. After about 5 minutes, I take it out, let the water drain, then repeat once or twice more.
