I've got black bean aphids on my Chinese Pepper. Will the soap and water spray work on these critters? (image of aphids is from another source)
Thanks in advance!

oof. thats quite an infestation. Yes, I would try the soap solution.
1 spoonful of dish soap (natural dish soap if possible, try to avoid all the super scented stuff, its full of dyes and perfumes)
1 spoonful of vegetable oil
1 litre of water (mineral water if possible)
Mix it all in a spray bottle and generously apply. Take some tweezers and pick off everything you can first.
That mixture should be harmless to the plant itself.

That is not a picture of a peppertree, but of broadbeans.
You van whipe them off, or use a strong waterspray to spray them.off. also, soap and rubbing alcohol in water will get rid of them.

You're right, it's a picture I found online to show what they looked like, as noted in the OP. They seemed to appear over night.
