Thank you for the detailed photos, we can all learn a little something from this. Thread grafting is a good idea, you just have to find some young seedlings to sacrifice.

these are the front and back (for now)veiws. i left the back toward its window almost all winter/spring. i was attempting to get more heavy growth on this side and the natural sunlight did its job

i did this 9 days ago. i unwired the front and def'd leaving the heavier growth side alone. i did this to shift the trees enegy.since the back and top were growing so stongly doing this will force more energy to repair damage and produce leaves in the aflicted area.after 8 days i unwired and def'd the rest.

i have remedied the trees issue  :) :cheer:  B)
the tree from one angle has a concaved trunk and reverse tapered..i have been thinking what to do with the last of my cuttings it was growing the best but had no potential and working on momma it just clicked, mother daughter style. there is a hole through the roots and the concave works perfect ...freakin' awsome :woohoo:

i rewired some and gave the 1st branch a real good torque, i learned that letting a tree dry out a bit before bending helps and it moved alot and closed up the cuts alot more im happy with the movement now

it was backbudding on its own so it was a perfect time to defoliate

here is the after.its hard to tell but the end branching had doubled.there is so many new little branches formed. i even founr a few leaves smaller than a pencil eraser.all ternminal bud were removed and the few leaves that are left were a few days old.i shortened most of the lower branches to bring the foliage in more and left the top alone to promote more branching
