In terms of bonsai, the 4 or so years since I have started this hobby have been very fruitful. I worked on numerous trees and overall I enjoyed it a lot. I have attached some of the trees I have worked on. For example: the black pine, and the lovely juniper in a extremely nice pot which was actually a gift from my master to someone- I reapplied the lime sulphur and gave it a light prune. Other works include the landscape bonsai which I found pretty cute, although it was an extremely big hassle to maintain (and I am pretty sure we gave up on always keeping it in top condition). Apart from regular practices I am sure most of you guys are familiar with, some of the more innovative things we did was using superglue, to reattach and harden decaying wood- it was a really fragile and thin piece from one of the images I have attached. There was also use of acid to wash rocks, then using a grinder, superglue and a very fine rock powder/sand to hold them together. I have also attached the smaller pieces- some nice nursery stock that were actually all gifts- although nothing too phenomenal, it helps me ease my mind especially during exam season when I work on them.?
That being said it is also quite sad as next year I would be attending uni, and will most likely attend abroad. (Hopefully I can find a venue to continue practicing there LOL).
In short, I really recommend you to take a tour of this garden if you ever find yourself in Hong Kong. This was just a small fraction of all the trees and things we did. Maybe I can share more next time

Not sure if you can see the juniper image I was referring to. If not, let me know.

The angles and lightings really do not do my trees justice xD. They are definitely nicer in person.
