Then there are a few species that does not handle wounds well, but in that case, a wound paste would not make a big difference in my opinion

im definitely an open minded beginner that loves and wants to learn why this is going to be more of a question than a response of what you said. But from what ive read, doesn't wound paste or sealer protect/seal wounds for those trees that are prone to disease through large cuts, but also aids in healing over. ive watched some videos say to do hard chops in summer on mainly deciduous trees when heat allows it to callous over faster, is that true?
