I am training a young Malsai to be a bonsai. I ran into trouble today when after reporting from a nursery plastic pot into a bonsai pot, I was adjusting one of the key branches (a secondary trunk actually) I applied too much force while trying to bend the branch and ended up breaking it not fully though. What could I do to Ensure the survival of this branch.
You can see the right hand Lower branch broken which I have temporarily put together using electric tape.
Help!

Leave the way it is now, it can heal.
Don't move the tree.
