I have a port Jackson fig which I received as a Christmas gift and it has sprouted massive leaves and they have recently started thinning out. I think it may be time to pinch them off but I'm scared I'll do it wrong. Where do I pick them off??

This is a very young plant, which first needs to do a lot of growing up before you should even start thinking about removing leaves and leaf size.

The leaves are quite thin also. How can i treat this problem?

Are thin floppy leaves normal? Also, some have yellowed and fallen off.
