Hi,
I just got a scented geranium and I thought it might be good material for bonsai, but Its become overgrown and I don’t really know how how to prune it/style it. Does anyone have any suggestions?

This plant is absolutely unsuitable for bonsai.

I can imagine there are concerns when it comes to thickening of the trunk and branches, as this is more a herb than a woody plant. Furthermore in most places Geranium species are rather short lived, only a few years.
Both make it less ideal for bonsai.

If you prune it, you will have a pruned plant that looks like a pruned plant and not like an old, majestic, but miniaturized tree.
