This picture is of a Juniper but not sure of the species. It seeded itself in my yard and I want to turn it into a 名媛直播. I am new to creating 名媛直播s and wanted some advice. I was hoping to find a picture to give me guidance on how to make a 名媛直播 with this plant. It is a year old. Can I wire it in the spring?

Any advice would be welcome.

I just added the picture again. I think I might have put it in twice.

I would say too early to do any jobs except for maybe put some movement on the trunk.

Do I cut some of the branches to thin it out a little before working on the trunk?

And can I keep it in the same pot?

You need foliage to grow the trunk. If you wish to work on the movement now, try to do it with as little cutting as possible.

But since you digged it up resently it is better to wait. Your can work the trunk Another coupple of years.

Patience is the key in bonsai. Not easy as a beginner. I know.

Yes, it is hard. A month ago I practiced on my first plant. (Hibiscus Plant, see below)
I will need to try and find something, in the spring that is reasonably priced, to work on that is a little older.

Are you aware that Hibiscus is not the best species for bonsai, right?
Long internodes, thin trunk, big flowers make the proportions just wrong for bonsai.

When I said I was A beginner, I meant a beginner!
I know it wasn't the best choice but it was on sale and I couldn't find anything else at the time.
I wanted to try a ficus plant but haven't been able to find one. I don't know any other good ones for inside. I live in Pennsylvania so it's cold here. I was thinking in the spring To look for an azalea bush, Dwarf crêpe myrtle And a weeping willow tree. I Appreciate the time you spent emailing And I I don't want to take advantage Of You're time But if you Have any advice on starter plants That I could buy at Home Depot or Lowe's, that would be great.

junipers are good starters and most of the time sold at home depot lowe's.
