decandling advice needed was created by gmiliotis

Hello

I am growing these young Japanese Black pines from seeds, they are now about 11 months old. They all have candles, one is actually very vigorous, and I do not know how I should now proceed. To my understanding typically you decandle sometime in June-July but I dont know if that applies for such young trees.
Shall I cut off the candles please, or leave it until the trees grow older. If i need to prune the candles when shall I do it? For example the middle tree has a very strong candle and by June maybe it is going to be too late to decandle....
It is my first time I try to grow bonsais (in fact first time in gardening in general) and I am not sure what to do. If there is anything I am missing here or I should keep in mind (with regards to the future shape of the tree for example) please let me know

Many thanks

Just let them grow. There nothing to decandle.

...and place them in bigger pots, bonsai are not made by letting them grow in small pots.
