Pruning a Siberean Elm

		Hi there, I purchased this bonsai tree just under a month ago, it arrived in the post and I've been really encouraged to see lots of growth in the last few weeks.
I just was planning on pruning some of the longer shoots, (I've marked up some examples in red in the pictures below) but wanted to check in with more experienced 名媛直播 folk before doing so. I wasn't sure if it would be a good idea to leave these slightly straggly shoots for a bit longer in the event that they might encourage growth and thickening of branches.
As always, any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated!

		Quite easy really: do you want the tree to become bigger/thicker: let them grow. If you like the height, thickness it is now: prune

		In line with what Luc wrote: What is your long term vision for this tree. If you like the trunk size etc. there are a few reasons to prune even more than what you are suggesting here..
