I have no idea what point you are trying to make wiseass.

You bought a tree. My question remains. What did YOU see in the tree. That should define where to go.

I agree with you. As a newbie, it is hard to come up with a vision for the future styling of a tree. Especially mugo pines that tend to develop whorls and have crazy amounts of branches coming from one spot. I like the movement in this tree. Unfortunately, I can't be of much help with styling ideas.

Thanks, after a nice walk in the wild I’ve came up with the following, it’s a mix of wind swept and cascade style. Hope it will inspire someone ;) don’t mind the flip flops

Hi! I don’t think there are rights or wrongs at this stage as we are newbies :side:
If we don’t make an error we’ll never learn, this was actually my first attempt at serious wiring, tried to follow the rules to some extend but some wires are crossing etc next time will be better. Mugo is slow growing so we have all the time in the world #zen

What does your mugo look like? I am curious

Ciao!

It looks like someone who has never done bonsai before had a go at it ! Lol it was only a small nursery plant so it’s just been an experiment , I did so much wrong !
