Hi all,
new around here and hope you could help.
This is an oak yamadori, dug out 2018, then grew in soil on garden, put into "pot" in spring 2020.
I have hard time selecting front and shape of the tree.
Front - trunk movement vs. deadwood vs. roots.
Shape will depend on the front selection.
I will much appreciate your suggestions

Well... it’s not an oak but a hornbeam
It’s always difficult to judge a tree from a 2D picture but I’ll give it a shot. Keep in mind that it’s my vision, the next guy can say/see something totally different.
First of all I like the general appearance of the tree, it has potential. If you want an advice on a front: dont choose one. What I mean is trees is nature don’t have a front, and this one has something good one all sides . Style: Walter Palls fairy tale style is ideal for this one.
Needs some work in building secondary and tertiary branches but as I said- good potential here
