The only design concideration I would do right now is the choice of growing on 1,2 or 3 trunks.

I can see some nice taper in the future keeping the lowest branch as a new leader.

The wires is doing nothing, you can take them off.

What plant species is this? The Aureovariegata only tells which variety it is (A golden variegated variety). It looks like a boxwood. If it is, you should be keeping this outside. Are you?

In my garden this would be a MUCH smaller tree. In fact, I would work towards getting the foliage down to the area where the trunk splits into three, and eventually remove all but 1 of them, and the one left, cut back to just above the split.
