Hi,
I'm a newbie in bonsai growing. I have focus, which is growing great and hibiscus, which I managed to prune and keep small (both still young) last year I've decided to grow eucalyptus from seed. Managed to grow one, but need help with shaping. I didn't want to do some big cuttings, as it's still a young plant, but I think, that it's overgrown. Can you please help me - what will you do with this? I was thinking to cut it all the way down, where the small young branch is, but I'm scared to do it
later in spring I want to change the pots for smaller one (bonsai type shape)

Hello, I might say I find that a really strange choice, since eucalyptus is not commonly used for 名媛直播, maybe because of it's big leaves.
However there are a few out there... I think you can let it grow for a while to thicken, maybe get a bigger pot so it can grow more and give the roots some attention (when spring for you) so you can get some nice flare roots, when you next repot you can cut the top back to avoid dehydration.
But to be honest, if I would to make a eucalyptus bonsai, I would make it thick, like at least 7cm, and that would require a quite big container for some time.
