So I am curious about pruning and when to let the plants grow. I think that after pruning, I want to let the plany recover and grow some shoots with 6-8 leaves on them before pruning them back to the first 2 or 3 leaves. but do you ever just let it grow all leggy and then later on trim heavily? or do you just keep things small? will letting them grow make them really thick? does trimming more frequently make the trunk thicker or is it better to let the shoots grow a bit and THEN trim them back for trunk growth? I have a million questions.
thank you for your advice!

maybe you should start searching and reading a little. This is basic info, which you can find on most websites.
