Pruned, wired and repotted into a small pot? I'd leave it alone and hope it lives.

Smossoo" post=30672]Just checked my book and you are right ... guess my subconscious mind kept this picture in focus ....

In my opinion the example you had isn't great, but at least you got started and got your first practice. Now give the tree time to recover. I'd recommend to look at lots of pictures of trees, and, if you can, visit bonsai nurseries / exhibitions / join a club.
