I purchased a 3D pen and thought it would be fun to try and draw a tree. First try... it's tricky, but fun. Not bad for a first attempt, I think.

I already have green filament. Drawing the leaves will be the next step - wanted to show its winter silhouette :)

Cool. I can imagine a good use of it when it comes to decide which way to go with a tree, what branch to cut or leave, what style to go with and thinking about further progressions. But I don't really have good hand skills so its a no-no for me.

Not really what I had in mind - you would have to draw the specific tree and I don't think I'm really capable of that.
However, it is a nice exercise, trying to get the trunk right, with tapering, correct branch placement, ramification. I already found I didn't do it quite right (and I ran out of filament so I had to improvise :) )

It's just fun to do.
