If you are young and broke like myself this is a decent way to display your bonsai. No tools needed, and the materials cost only 17 dollars at Lowes. One day me and my father will build an epic bonsai bench, but for now, this suits my small collection just fine.

9 standard cinder blocks, and 2 2"x8"x8' planks of wood.

Make sure you stack the cinder blocks 'hole side up' to make it feel a little more classy. lol.

Keep in mind if you do this by yourself like I did, you will be sore the next day

cool bench ...if you turn the top block sideways you can have two layers once you have more trees

I have the same bench as yours, just with other blocks, I couldn't find those.

This is something I have wanted to do for a long time. Pallets in my area are everywhere...and free. I'm not a hoarder but for some reason I want to take every free pallet I see. I have yet to take any.

It could be modified to become a bonsai bench....
