Afternoon all. Just curious, when's the best time to repot a Pyracantha?
I have had one given to me a present, it's lost it flowers, well maybe one or two left (see picture) reading about the net, I guessing maybe in the next week or two is the best time?
Also, any advice on what mix to have a soil medium?
Thank you all.

Use any good soil mix for bonsai, mostly inorganic.
Usually a mix of free-draining and loose soil (inorganic, up to 75%) and organic matter will do.

Spring time just before the buds open out. The winter store of goodness is already in the trunk pushing the buds out so trimming the roots will not rob the tree of all it's energy

Yes spring is the best time, if it does not lose leaves do it then anyway. Don't take a lot of roots they do not like heavy root pruning.
