Hello,
I am new to the whole art of this. Wanted to have an opinion of everyone . While I know I've over pruned this one, I just wanted to make sure the pot was an acceptable size. Also the other picture is my second try. As you can see, I've defenatly taken a less aggressive pruning style with this one. Any advice or criticism is quite welcome.
Thanks!!!!

When choosing a pot many things come to play, is your tree more feminine or is it more masculine, can determine the pot, your pot should be about as big as 80% of the foliage, you don't want the pot to be bigger than the tree. Typically deciduous trees are in glazed pots and evergreen trees are in unglazed pots. Feminine style trees should be in an oval with soft lines and masculine trees should be in pots with harsher lines
